Looking at how quality mindfulness could be foundational in underpinning education 

The Mindfulness Initiative is exploring alliances with key organisations and individuals in the field of education to promote mindfulness as a key component of a whole school educational approach. We are working with partners to review the theory, evidence and practical action needed to shift mindfulness to the heart of education, in a way that recognises a more holistic and connected approach to learning.

Alongside this work, the Mindfulness Initiative is simultaneously building on its existing evidence-based guidance for quality  mindfulness training in schools, by exploring the particular criteria needed for a programme to authentically be described as  mindfulness-based.

We are pleased to be working with the Mindfulness in Schools Project on the early stages of this work.
